BIO

Perry Guzzi received a BFA from Baylor University and holds an MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts.  He is a member of the Dramatists Guild, as well as a member of Julie McKee’s writing studio practice at HB Studio, and has studied with playwrights Laura Maria Censabella, Stuart Spencer and Tina Howe.  A 35 year New Yorker, Perry relocated in 2020 back to his Southern Ohio roots, where he shares his home with his canine humans, Katie and Chezza.

Short plays include SOCIAL (2019 Hudson Theater Works Short Play Festival), LOS DEMAS (2016 Samuel French OOB Short Play Festival, 2018 Hudson Theater Works Short Play Festival), OUAGADOUGOU (2012 Samuel French OOB), as well as RUPTURE, AN ANGRY HEART, THE NEW HIRE and CLOSING TIME -- all featured in short play festivals.
